Backroads Saloon Branches Out

MARSHALL - Don't worry, the barn's not going anywhere.

As Backroads Saloon expands its flavors of music and entertainment at 15325 W. Michigan Ave., those who like the place the way it is have no reason to fear, the owners said. That means the big barn near the stage, the horse statue near the entrance and the name itself are staying, along with the country music and line dancing.

It's just that the place is starting to offer what some of the owners said they've always planned.

Dancing In The New Year

Backroads Saloon opened up the dance floor for a night of celebration. There was pizza to eat and beats for feet to move to. The Megan Rae Band and Chameleon provided entertainment for the evening. At midnight, revelers raised glasses of champagne.

Being based out of South Carolina and touring all over the southeast, Outshyne has gained a large fan following in that area. Over the past year, they have broke out of the area and started traveling to their neighboring regions, growing the fan base with each stop along the way. With recent visits to surrounding states, Outshyne has worked hard to get a date with a venue inside the mitten state. On Friday night, all the hard work paid off as they were finally able to stop the tour bus at Backroads Saloon in Marshall, Michigan.
